What is a group order, and how does it work?
Smoked Ham’s ko-fi shop is based in Malaysia, but many of us are in the United States. To save on shipping and other fees, all U.S. orders will be shipped from Malaysia to the U.S. as one consolidated package, or a group order. The group order host/manager, in this case Adyn, will receive and sort through the group order, to repackage and ship out each of the individual orders separately!
How does payment work?
Please note that there will be 2 separate payments required. The 1st payment is the cost of your item(s), to be paid by March 7. This will be used to make the group order purchase.The 2nd payment will be due after the items arrive in the U.S., as it would cover the international shipping cost + possible customs & tariffs + repackaging costs. Please note that there is a minimum shipping fee of $65 (to be split among the group), as well as possible tariffs and customs fees, but Adyn and Hamu will do their best to distribute the costs fairly across the orders. The calculation will be made transparent to all group order participants.Each individual order will be shipped out only after its 2nd payment is made. The deadline for the 2nd payment will be communicated after the individual orders have been repackaged for domestic shipping. If the 2nd payment is not received by the deadline, the item(s) will be treated as unclaimed, and its 1st payment will be refunded. Depending on how much is left unclaimed, there may be a “leftover” sale to cover the costs.Items are currently estimated to arrive early April. The status of your order will be shared after your 1st payment via a Google Spreadsheet.
